Supplier Rate Readiness Specialist
About the role
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Supplier Rate Readiness Specialist (Level 3 or Level 4) to join the Supply Chain Functional Excellence team in Everett, Washington. This role focuses on advanced supply chain principles, supplier performance, and readiness to support production rate increases.
This position is 100% onsite and requires compliance with U.S. export control regulations, limiting eligibility to U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees).
Responsibilities
- Apply best practices and standard work to support Operations Procurement Agents managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS).
- Analyze supply chain readiness data to identify production system risks.
- Provide peer review of supplier readiness plans.
- Reduce supplier performance risk for current and future production rates.
- Develop strategies to align program needs with supply base capabilities.
- Partner with Business Operations and Enterprise Supply Chain Readiness to drive functional excellence in rate assessment and mitigation processes.
- Define and improve standard work processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with suppliers or supplier management.
- 4+ years of experience within the supply chain or procurement field.
- 2+ years managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS).
- Able and willing to travel up to 15% domestically.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Level 4: 7+ years of experience with suppliers or supplier management.
- Level 4: 7+ years of experience within the supply chain or procurement field.
- 4+ years managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS).
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams.
- 1+ years within fabrication/manufacturing, quality, and/or industrial engineering.
- Experience in roles requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay
Summary pay range:
- Level 3: $106,250 - $143,750
- Level 4: $130,050 - $175,950
Pay is based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
