About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Supplier Performance Specialist to serve as the strategic backbone of our helicopter rotable supply chain. Managing a high-impact portfolio of OEMs and MRO providers, you won't just track KPIs; you will own the end-to-end reliability of our fleet’s mission-ready parts.

Your Challenges

As a Supplier Performance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Component, Repairs, Operations, and Repairers/Vendors Management: 55% of your time will be spent on this, including serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned suppliers, holding full accountability for monitoring their operational performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost
• Supplier Performance Management: tracking KPIs, creating Service Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, & Deliveries/TF(s) and initiating work orders/requests with suppliers for RMA(s) as required
• Work in Progress (WIP) Management: tracking WIP & providing exchange offers to customers when necessary & advanced exchanges when requested
• Rotable Pool Inventory Support: contributing to maintaining inventory accuracy with location of parts in the system (SAP)
• KPI Tracking and Analytics: meticulously tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Turnaround Time (TAT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD), using advanced data analytics to identify performance trends, forecast material flow, and proactively identify risks and opportunities
• Performance Reviews: preparing for and leading periodic performance review meetings with suppliers, presenting data-driven insights, broadcasting performance scorecards, and working collaboratively to develop and implement improvement initiatives
• Issue Resolution and Recovery: leading and coordinating corrective action plans in the event of KPI deviations or non-conformances, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Warranty Management: managing the warranty and claim process for parts that experience quality escapes after repair or overhaul, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution
• Risk Management: monitoring supplier risks and developing mitigation plans to minimize potential disruptions to the supply chain
• Forecasting / Scheduling / Planning: building and monitoring delivery schedules with Suppliers in accordance with customer priorities, building and maintaining Suppliers scorecards, preparing external repair forecast and accurately coordinating with external suppliers/vendors
• Process Adherence / Dashboard Maintenance: updating and maintaining status dashboards for internal stakeholders and customers, providing regular reports on supplier performance to the Equipment Manager and senior management

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Seven (7) years experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, or vendor management environment
• Preferred experience in the aerospace, aviation, or a similar field, as well as experience with MRO processes and SAP
• APICS Certification (CSCP, CTSC, or CPIM) is also preferred

• Physical Requirements: ability to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, ability to read documents, reports and engineering drawings, ability to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms
