Supplier Quality Manager
About the role
The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for leading a team that plays a crucial role in securing reliable and compliant products. This role oversees supplier selection & approval, material qualification, material control, and supplier development activities. The individual must demonstrate strong technical skills and decision-making abilities to achieve desired results. They represent Supplier Quality on development, manufacturing, and product improvement projects, collaborating with Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Development, and Production teams.
Responsibilities
- Directs and optimizes the Quality team resources by driving accountability to meeting goals and commitments to the business through clear prioritization of work assignments.
- Engages and develops talent by training, coaching, and modeling behaviors that align with Danaher Core Values and using Danaher Business System tools.
- Establishes and drives clear objectives for the team with SMART goals that stretch the organization to grow and are tracked and reported to Operations partners and within the Quality organization on a regular basis.
- Collaborates with Operations and aligns on goals as well as short-term actions.
- Maintains, implements, and continuously improves processes and QMS infrastructure, with the purpose of providing both best-in-class compliance and business support.
- Continually develops and proactively manages local metrics needed to gauge the performance of processes.
- Provides guidance to Operations, Quality, extended Quality groups, and other functions regarding compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 15% including overnight.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb.
- Previous experience in Supplier Quality and Supplier Management.
- Experience working within a global, multi-cultural, matrixed organization.

Benefits
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan. The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000, with the possibility of bonus/incentive pay.
