Supplier Quality Engineer II (1st Shift, M-F 6AM- 2:30PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments of supplier quality metrics to ensure adherence to established standards and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and analyze complex quality issues, determining root causes and developing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead small scale improvement projects focused on enhancing supplier processes and product quality through the implementation of best practices.
  • Work closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to align supplier quality objectives with overall business goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality reports and documentation to track supplier performance and support informed decision making.

Pay

Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Estimated annual base pay range: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 (based on midpoint).

Qualifications

The position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Requirements

This position requires a strong background in quality management, root cause analysis, and supplier assessment. Experience in project management and process improvement is also essential. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards is necessary, as is the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
