Essential Functions
- Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
- Captures and analyzes supplier performance trend analysis and RCCA to identify supplier quality opportunities for improvement in performance and support of reducing overall safety stock levels.
- Coordinates supplier performance data and verifies quality standards in accordance with the requirements of the organization.
- Coordinates regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, as well as actively participates in strategic development based on quality control plans as implemented by the Quality Organization.
- Serve as the liaison for operations and SQE III/suppliers, in conjunction with the Quality Organization.
- Actively participate in the improvement of the structural quality and processes in a team environment.
- Manage FAI’s through EPDM in support of new product or improved existing product SKU’s.
- Review FAI results with SQE’s to address opportunities and corrections with part quality.
- Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 1-2 min. years of experience or a combination of related experience, education, and/or training, to sufficiently, and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Previous experience in a quality supervising capacity preferred.
- Must be a problem solver who uses advanced analytical skills to find innovative solution to quality-related issues.
- Must also have strong communication, presentation, relationship building and proactive leadership skills.
- May work in an office environment or at a production site depending on the needs of their company.
- Report supplier performance and quality progress reports to present to the supervisor and/or management.
- Aid in the development and implementation of supplier management programs.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
