About the Role

The Supplier & Production Coordinator is responsible for managing supplier relationships and coordinating print production activities to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with quality standards. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, driving accountability, resolving production challenges, and ensuring successful project execution from proofing through final delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and production vendors to ensure quality, performance, and on-time project execution
  • Coordinate all phases of print production, including artwork review, proofing, production scheduling, quality control, and final delivery
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive accountability to ensure service level expectations are consistently met
  • Lead regular supplier status meetings to review production schedules, project updates, risks, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to proactively identify and resolve production issues, minimizing project delays
  • Investigate production defects and coordinate reprints, replacements, and corrective actions when necessary
  • Review production specifications and ensure materials, proofs, and finished products meet established quality standards
  • Track multiple production projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and customer expectations are achieved
  • Maintain accurate production records, supplier documentation, and project status updates
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and solutions to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, supplier performance, and operational efficiencies
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing vendor and supplier relationships while driving accountability and performance
  • Strong knowledge of print production processes, materials, proofing procedures, and quality control best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve production issues, coordinate reprints, and manage replacements
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, suppliers, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage supplier and stakeholder expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain production schedules and resolve operational challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Pay

$65,000–$80,000 per year
