Positions available for Head Coach and Assistant Coach roles at a high school in Fort Lauderdale.

Responsibilities

• Impart knowledge of the sport/activity to participants.
• Ensure compliance with Florida State Statute requirements for coaching certification.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• For Head Coach: Valid Florida Educator Certificate or willingness to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport/activity and ability to teach it effectively.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Pay

Compensation follows the district’s new hire teacher salary scale for Head Coaches and hourly rates for Classroom Monitors for Assistant Coaches. View salary information.
