SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- VOLLEYBALL (ASSISTANT COACH)

Location: Blanche Ely High School, Pompano Beach

Temporary/substitute position; open until filled.

About the Role

Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available for high school athletic programs. Coaches are responsible for teaching and developing student athletes in their respective sports.

Responsibilities

• Impart knowledge of the sport to student athletes.
• Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Demonstrate computer skills as required for the position (e.g., tracking player progress, scheduling).

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Head Coach only: Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education (required by Florida State Statute).
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to effectively teach it to participants.
