SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY-SOFTBALL (HEAD & ASSISTANT COACH)

Location: Monarch High, Coconut Creek

About the role

This is a temporary, non-exempt position with an open application window until filled.

Responsibilities

• Impart knowledge of the sport/activity to participants.
• Perform essential coaching duties as required by the position.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• For Head Coach: Valid Florida Educator Certificate or ability to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport/activity and ability to teach it effectively.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Pay

Compensation follows the district’s new-hire teacher salary scale for Head Coaches and the hourly rate schedule for Classroom Monitors/Assistant Coaches.
