SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS & GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY (HEAD COACH)
POSITION GOAL
The Head Coach is responsible for leading and managing a team, imparting knowledge of the sport, and ensuring adherence to rules and regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Standard high school diploma or GED
- Florida Educator Certificate (required)
- Knowledge of the sport and ability to impart this knowledge
ASSISTANT COACH
- Standard high school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of a GED Testing Program
- Knowledge of the activity and ability to impart this knowledge
- Computer skills as required for the position
SKILLS
Significant contacts with participants, ability to impart knowledge, computer skills, and physical requirements as stated in the Terms of Employment section.
CERTIFICATIONS
Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education for those without a valid Florida Educator Certificate.
