Responsibilities
- Provides supervision and leadership over the Procurement, Finance and Inventory Management branch, dispensing advice, guidance, and assistance to geographically dispersed personnel on procedures or processes related to Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) creation and maintenance.
- Manages funds and financial processing of budgetary objects, including Organic and Commercial repair, goods issues, receipts, inventory balances, reconciliation, and plant master data.
- Plans, facilitates, and monitors the basic business of Procurement, Finance, and Inventory Management within the command using Navy ERP, supporting customers and process owners across multiple business areas.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
