Supervisory Supply Management Specialist.
Duties
- Serve as the Range Supply Management Officer and Direct Supervisor for the Range Operations Support section.
- Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term and long-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- Monitor and track expenditures of allocated funds, Operations and Maintenance Appropriations (OMA) and Other Procurement, Army (OPA) for the organization.
- Approve all purchases and reviews orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the daily acquisition of supplies and services by providing advice and assistance in resolving supply support problems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent is required to complete General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) Certification through the Defense Logistics Agency.
- Individual must obtain a valid state driver's license.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Position requires incumbent to serve a 1 year Supervisory probationary period upon entrance into the position.

Specialized experience
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Interpreting and applying distribution management policies and procedures; Resolving conflicting issues concerning supply management operations; and Preparing inventory lists and adjusting property records as required to ensure accuracy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
