Responsibilities
- Suitability review and approval of transactions in certain product specific areas such as alternative investments, structured products, exchange traded products, variable annuity liquidations and others as needed.
- Become a subject matter expert and liaison with vendors and wholesalers.
- Aid with regulatory exams and requests as well as maintain supervisory procedures.
- Manage projects, plan, and resolve issues.
- Conduct investigations of questionable sales activity and collaborate with senior analysts or managers on resolutions.
- Stay updated with company and industry regulations; interpret firm policies and procedures.
- Routinely interact within a team environment to identify potential sales practice concerns, escalate issues, and consult on problematic clients or branches.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65), 24 (or 9 and 10), if one exam is needed, obtain within 90 days.
- 5+ years industry experience.
- Understanding of complex products (i.e., alternative investments and structured products).
- Knowledge of mutual funds, annuities, general securities, and other financial products.
- Knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and State rules and regulations.

Preferences
- Series 4 & 53.
- Life and Health Insurance License.
- Experience with all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Familiarity with BETA.
