About the role
We are seeking a Supervisory Physician for the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) to provide leadership and clinical oversight in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Leading and directing a subordinate medical staff
- Reviewing medical records, interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating specialty consultations
- Drafting comprehensive clinical summaries with input from consultants
- Assessing community, patient needs, and resource allocation to deliver outpatient and inpatient care
- Collaborating with other physicians to evaluate complex or difficult cases
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution, with equivalent foreign credentials validated by recognized certification
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
- At least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree
- Five years of graduate training or equivalent experience in the medical specialty
Additional Requirements
- Possession of a current medical license and ability to obtain clinical privileges
- Compliance with background checks, security investigations, immunizations, and drug testing
- Possibly maintaining Basic Life Support certification and valid driver’s license
