About the Position
Serves as Army Museum Enterprise (AME), West Regional Chief. Provides oversight, coordination, administration, and management of the operations and museum programs in 8 to 10 Army field museums IAW AME priorities. Ensures professionalization of the workforce, adherence to regulatory standards, and achievement of reform initiatives, while facilitating local command priorities and requirements.
Qualifications

- Qualification Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in museum work; or in an applicable subject-matter field such as Museum Studies or History.
- Experience: Four years of experience that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the four year course of study as shown in A above.
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) plans, executes, supervises and evaluates the overall programs and projects assigned; 2.) executing museum resource management, both manpower and financial; 3.) composing policies and operational guidelines concerning museum management.

- Qualified candidates will be assigned to one of three quality categories: Best Qualified, Highly Qualified, and Qualified.
