Supervisory Management Analyst.
About the Role
As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will exercise delegated supervisory authorities and responsibilities. This role involves direct collaboration with executive-level personnel, managers, and staff within BPA, other Federal agencies, State and local authorities, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
- Develop performance standards and evaluate the work performance of subordinates.
- Approve expenses comparable to within-grade increases, extensive overtime, and employee travel.
- Ensure team-oriented, effective, harmonious, and productive formal and informal working relationships.
- Serve as the overall programmatic advisor and expert consultant to the Chief Administrative Officer and Deputy.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor critical strategic activities and special projects as assigned.
- Represent N and/or the BPA in working directly with executive-level stakeholders.
Requirements

- First-time supervisors will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period.
- This position has been designated as requiring a PUBLIC TRUST background. A preliminary background check must be completed before a new employee can begin work.
- Selectee will be required to complete the Office of Government Ethics Standard of Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OFGE450e) within 30 days of employment and annually.
This is a temporary promotion, not to exceed one (1) year, and may be extended up to five (5) years total. It may be made permanent without further competition. Upon termination of the promotion, you will be returned to your original position of record or to a different position of equivalent grade and pay. If you are currently employed at a grade equivalent to or higher than the advertised position, the action will be considered a detail for processing purposes without a salary increase.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience Requirements: A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position is defined as:
- Planning and leading programs, systems, and work processes necessary to perform the critical mission and support activities required of the organization.
- Providing guidance and analyses in the coordination of programs and activities, including planning and scheduling, operational performance, regulatory compliance, or administrative support functions.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps) and work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
