Supervisory Health System Specialist (Group Practice Manager)- Clinical Resource Hub HSA 5.1 and 5.4

About the role

The primary purpose of the Group Practice Manager (GPM) is to provide oversight, recommendations, and administrative data management of CRH services. The GPM measures and assesses clinical business activities with an emphasis on improving clinical product line performance. S/he supervises a team of five employees.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification may be based on experience as described below:

• GS-12 Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR): The 0671 series requires specific education or experience to be met for appointment. Examples include:
  • Undergraduate and Graduate Education in a major study of hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration (transcripts required).
  • Or progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field, performed in an operating health care facility or higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities, involving close working relationship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordination of administrative, clinical, or other service activities, and providing knowledge of:
    • Missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems;
    • Regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups;
    • Government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement.
• Specialized Experience (GS-12): In addition to the IOR, one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 level, including:
  • Experience with Telehealth Management Platform (TMP), CPRS, Federal EHR (Cerner), ISS, CTM+, and expertise with Microsoft Suite including Excel
