Supervisory Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
About the role
This position is located within the Division of Professional Services, Radiology Department of the Blackfeet Service Unit. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Responsibilities
- Helps performs radiological examinations per request by the medical staff for use in clinical diagnosis, patient screening, monitoring patient therapy and status and other authorized purposes.
- Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures and rearranges patient priorities to accommodate them.
- Directly supervises the staff of the radiology department, plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees; evaluates work performance.
- Keeps the Clinical Director, Medical Officers, Administrative staff and Area Consulting Radiologist informed of reports other required communications; assures the radiology equipment is properly maintained and repaired and all related areas are kept in a clean, neat, and in orderly condition.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
Supervise or oversee other staff members in x-ray by review of assignments, evaluate performance, counsel on work, performance or conduct issues, interview potential hires;
Ensure accreditation requirements are maintained with the x-ray program in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines;
Consult with medical providers on requests received, provide expert reading of requests received;
Assure radiology equipment is properly maintained and repaired, calibrations of equipment are properly completed
