Supervisory Cybersecurity Specialist

This position is located in the Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Division of COMFLTREADCEN.

Responsibilities

• Use Vulnerability Risk Assessment and Management (VRAM) tools and perform vulnerability management procedures.
• Promote awareness of cybersecurity policy and strategy among management, ensuring sound cybersecurity principles are embedded in the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Develop policy, programs, and guidelines for implementation and review existing and proposed policies with stakeholders.
• Advise senior management (e.g., Digital Group Head, Executive Director, Commanding Officer) on risk levels and security posture.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, guidance, and standard operating procedures concerning the security of network system(s) operations.
• Supervise and manage relevant security implications within the organization, specific program, or other area of responsibility by performing all supervisory duties expected of a senior civilian leader.
• Perform the full range of management responsibilities to include technical supervision of subordinates’ work efforts.

Pay

$143,913 – $187,093 per year
