About the role
The Supervisory Contract Specialist (GS-1102-13) supports the Air Force mission by providing operational contracting acquisition flight oversight. This position serves as the supervisory contracting officer with warrant authority.
Responsibilities
- Completes required forms in accordance with the Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 USC 423).
- Willingness to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
- Meets DAWIA requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
- Completes “Public Financial Disclosure Report” pursuant to Title I of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978, as amended.
Requirements
- Knowledge of federal contracting laws, regulations, policies, practices, methods, and contract types.
- Knowledge of business practices and market conditions applicable to program and technical requirements.
- Fact-finding, contract analysis, and pricing techniques.
- Problem resolution and development of concrete action plans.
- Planning, organizing, and directing functions and staff of a moderate-sized organization.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Establishing effective working relationships with others.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be of legal work age.

Pay
Salary Range is $117,284 - $152,471 Annually based on experience.
