Supervisory Clinical Nurse - Critical Care Stepdown

About the role

Provides leadership in patient care and department operations, serving as a clinical resource and staff nurse as needed. Assumes delegated managerial responsibilities, ensuring alignment with mission, values, and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or other unit-specific credentials may be required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
• Supervisor experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care and department operations
• Serve as a resource for staff and patients
• Perform nursing duties as needed
