Supervisor Trainee

The Supervisor Trainee role at AG Processing Inc. (AGP) in St. Joseph, MO, is designed for individuals looking to develop their supervisory and engineering skills while working in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains production employees through scheduling, monitoring and assisting when needed
• Maintains equipment and facilities for proper operation by reviewing logs, flash reports, and conducting visual and physical inspections
• Assists with production and maintenance tasks including loading, unloading, car moving, cleaning, and process operations
• Schedules trucking and production based on production records and identified needs
• Reviews daily production records and quality
• Manages inventory control by counting and sampling as needed
• Enforces company policies and procedures
• Writes daily reports
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to work as a member of a team in a production environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities
• Strong safety awareness
• Willingness to work various hours/shifts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Ag Systems Technology, Ag Production Technology, or similar experience preferred
