Supervisor, Survey Engineering (hybrid schedule)

Essential Functions

• Maintains the status of approved projects and identifies issues and scheduling impacts.
• Prepares or assists in preparing manpower, capital, and expense budgets; monitors costs and prepares variance reports.
• Evaluates survey requests and completed surveys for compliance with SRE policies, procedures, standards, and note keeping formats.
• Ensures survey permission is obtained from property owners before starting work.
• Certifies land survey maps as required.
• Develops and recommends surveying procedures, standards, and methods.
• Aids in developing and implementing real estate technical services procedures, standards, and methods.
• Supervises and maintains surveying instruments, tools, and equipment.
• Researches and evaluates new surveying technologies.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications

• Thorough knowledge of land, engineering, and construction surveying; mapping, legal documents, real estate terminology, etc.
• Knowledge of CT & MA statutes and regulations governing surveying and mapping activities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze deeds, title abstracts, and related data.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization and with external parties.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relations with property owners and the public.
• Experience in surveying and supervisory roles.

Education and Experience

• High school or trade school diploma with specialization in mathematics/surveying.
• Two years of related formal technical training.
• Five or more years of related survey experience and supervisory experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Available to work emergency restoration assignments as required.
• Available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is: Worker Type: Regular Number of Openings: 1.

Emergency Response

If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours, and location.
