Supervisor, Surgical Services - AM Admitting - Full time

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across surgical services, focusing on pre-operative, procedural, and post-anesthesia care areas.
• Coordinate patient flow and address day-to-day operational needs.
• Support interdisciplinary teams in planning and operational initiatives.
• Mentor and guide team members, providing clinical guidance and promoting safe, high-quality patient care.
• Ensure appropriate resource availability and staff assignments.
• Participate in staff orientation, competency assessment, and ongoing development.
• Balance clinical support with administrative oversight, including performance management and staff supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum one year experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Four years operating room experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required.
• Certified Perioperative Registered Nurse (CNOR) preferred.
