The integrated resort is located on 87 acres of the Hollywood Seminole Reservation, 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Miami and Miami International Airport.
About the Role
Under the direction of the HWHR Vice President of Security and reporting to the Security Shift Manager, this role coordinates and supervises all security and life safety activities at Hard Rock Live, Paradise Live, and other property venues. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and securing events to meet contractual obligations and quality customer service standards. The role involves coordination with Hard Rock Live Operations, Production Management, and the Special Events Department to review event schedules.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all performances to ensure the safety of patrons, guests, employees, and anyone associated with events
- Develop security operations plans for each event, including staff locations and artist routes
- Coordinate security details for events outside Hard Rock Live, such as pool functions, Seminole Paradise events, boxing events, and press conferences
- Coordinate with Security Managers of featured artists to provide guidance and ensure accurate security measures
- Develop Security Operation Plans for Special Events, schedule staff, and coordinate with Special Events Management
- Coordinate and oversee "meet & greet" sessions with artists, ensuring their security and safety
- Oversee the distribution of credentials and passes
- Coordinate and schedule Seminole Fire Rescue and Seminole Police for events as required
- Monitor fire systems and CCTV in each venue
- Establish and implement emergency evacuation plans and training
- Provide security for vendors, including merchandise sales and transportation of monies
- Recruit and train new employees on radio use, handling physical/verbal altercations, disorderly conduct, guest relations, crowd control, and artist escort
- Coordinate scheduling for event security staff
- Escort featured artists to and from events and maintain their security
- Review and approve payroll for event security
- Coordinate parking for tour buses, trucks, and guests
- Write reports and document all incidents related to Hard Rock Live, Entertainment, or Special Events
- Supervise approximately 70 employees
- Provide security for ticket booth operations, ensuring orderly ticket distribution for special events
- Oversee placement of media trucks and equipment to ensure safety
- Perform supervisory responsibilities within the casino/hotel security operation as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) year of job-related security experience in a high-volume casino/hotel complex environment or equivalent combination of education and experience (law enforcement experience may substitute)
- Must have industry or job-related knowledge
- Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule based on business and department needs

Work Environment
Must be able to work in a professional office environment as well as within Hard Rock Live, with constant exposure to the general public.
