Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of ambassadors in delivering an exemplary level of guest service.
  • Model a positive attitude, high level of energy, and an unyielding commitment to quality.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals.
  • Develop Assistant Supervisors and ambassadors through training, feedback, and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections, and follow up on improvement opportunities.
  • Manage inventory and restock/replace assigned areas' supplies and equipment.
  • Perform equipment and safety checks in compliance with department and company standards.
  • Respond to ambassador and guest needs, communicate effectively with other areas within the department, and other departments in the park.
  • Track and report information to complete daily and weekly reports.
  • Report to leadership regarding project status and completed assignments.

Requirements

  • At least 17 years of age.
  • At least 4 days of unrestricted availability including weekends and holidays during peak season.
  • At least 3 days of unrestricted availability including weekends and holidays during the off season.
  • Able to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification.
  • Able to be trained and certified at all assigned areas and job functions.
  • Able to climb stairs/ladders.
  • Able to operate and maneuver in/around tight spaces.
  • Able to use heavy equipment for cleaning.
  • Comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions and temperature extremes.
  • Comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor.
  • Able to bend, sit, stand, squat, stoop, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level.
  • Stand, walk, and/or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Positive interaction with guests, co-workers, and vendors of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds, and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team members.
  • Able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skilled in organization and planning.
  • Able to lift or move 75 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license preferred.
  • One year in theme park ride operation preferred.

Compensation

$15.50 USD per hour.
