Responsibilities

Ensure the Repair Station Stores/Administrative functions efficiently support the full repair cycle, including component parts availability, shipping-warehouse inventory, and customer service to achieve satisfaction and meet global repair turn-around standards. As a member of the Core Management Team, manage workflow, staffing, and development of 5-10 employees, resolve production challenges, and establish priorities to meet customer commitments. Own inventory and assets, coordinate cycle-counts, annual budget planning, and lead cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Oversee Repair Station Inventory, Warehouse, and Repair Order Processing.
  • Develop, communicate, monitor, and enforce key performance indicators to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Facilitate processing of internal Repair work orders to meet turnaround commitments.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Repair Station Leads and Repair Shop Supervisors to address production issues.
  • Establish and maintain a 24-hour turnaround culture for parts delivery to the Repair Shop Floor and customer shipments post-repair audit.
  • Act as Customer Advocate to eliminate roadblocks impacting quality and timeliness of order processing and delivery.
  • Serve as Repair Station liaison to Quality and Order Administration Departments for efficient RMA work order processing.
  • Ensure Logistics Staff are trained in Oracle and equipped to perform their jobs efficiently.
  • Maintain Warehouse, Shipping, and Administrative processes within CFR and DOT regulations.
  • Develop and implement procedures to eliminate waste and promote individual responsibility and accountability.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Recognized technical qualification or relevant experience.
  • 4-5 years' experience in materials and/or production planning.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations and Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Expertise in operational procedures and workflow to eliminate waste and promote accountability.
  • Strong capability in building effective teamwork to service customer requirements.
  • Good understanding of when to escalate issues for efficient action.
  • Effective leadership skills to build, educate, and lead teams.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced repair production environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in an MRP Environment (a plus).
  • Ability with shipping systems: DHL, FedEx, third-party.
  • Proficiency with Windows Office Suite, spreadsheets, databases, and analysis tools.
  • Ability to plan, assign, train, and direct employees with diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to interview, hire, and appraise employees.
  • Highly developed team-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize department objectives, material, information, and workforce systematically.
  • Advanced understanding of electronic production environment.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope requiring analysis of situations or data.
  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures affecting the organization.
  • Determines resource use to meet schedules and goals.

Pay

The salary wage range for this role is $67,000–$113,000, with the final offer amount varying based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.

  • Paid Time Off: Exempt salaried employees receive flexible paid time off. Non-exempt hourly employees accrue 14 vacation days, 7 sick days, and 3 personal days per year (accrual increases with tenure). All employees receive 11 company-paid holidays per year, with additional compensation for operational roles working on holidays. Offices are closed between Christmas and New Year.
