Supervisor Relief Nursing Admin

About the role

This position oversees the delivery of quality patient care following Cottage Health and department-specific policies and procedures, as well as directing and evaluating the care delivery of others to ensure continuity and quality.

Education

• Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program with an anticipated graduation date within an established timeframe.
• Preferred: Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications & Licenses

• Minimum: Current California Registered Nurse license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS); American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Technical Requirements

• Minimum: Knowledge of licensing and accrediting requirements; experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience

• Minimum: Three (3) years of Registered Nurse leadership experience in an acute care area.
• Preferred: Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience of increasingly greater responsibility in an acute care hospital.

Pay

Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health's annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential.
