Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate nursing care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lead daily team huddles to set goals and monitor progress against targets.
- Evaluate patient care plans and adjust workflows for improved efficiency.
- Document and report nurse performance metrics and quality indicators.
- Manage on-site staffing schedules to balance workload and meet forecasted demand.
- Utilize data pipelines and dashboards to track clinical performance and targets.
- Mentor and support junior staff through coaching and performance feedback.
- Cook up coordination with physicians and allied health professionals for seamless patient care.
- Support professional development plans to promote advancement within the team.
- Represent the unit in daily operations meetings and escalate risks promptly.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license with current state privileges and without encumbrances.
- Minimum 3 years nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proven experience with clinical protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Strong incident investigation and corrective action skills.
- Experience with staffing, scheduling, and workforce optimization.
- Ability to analyze clinical data using dashboards and pipelines.
- Mentoring and performance feedback for junior nursing staff.
- Excellent collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals.
Qualifications
- Contract role availability with on-site, shift-based coverage.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving targets and KPI ownership.
