Supervisor, Reagent Operations
About the role
The Supervisor, Reagent Operations is responsible for supervising the scientists and technicians who build, test, and fill the critical components for clinical diagnostic tools in the form of urinalysis. They also perform direct labor work to ensure achievement of On-Time Delivery (OTD) and schedule attainment within the UA work cell.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of manufacturing scientists and technicians to produce critical components to meet production demands
- Maintain oversight of multiple manufacturing production runs and support manufacturing nonconformance investigations, material supply issues, and process improvements to meet schedule and customer demands
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and/or scientific methods and quality guidelines
- Apply basic analytical skills to scientific methods, operational processes, or data to perform clearly documented activities
Requirements
- High school diploma with 8+ years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience
- Attention to details in activities and documentation
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
- Basic computer skills for data management and managing laboratory processes
Essential Requirements
- Travel infrequently, but up to 2+ weeks initially for training
- Ability to lift, move or carry materials up to 30lb
Qualifications
- Science background highly preferred
- Multiple years of experience working in a regulated industry
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of regulatory compliance and quality control

Pay
The annual salary range for this role is $83,000.00 - $87,000.00 USD annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
Schedule
This is an on-site role located in Chaska, Minnesota.
