INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a dedicated caregiver to join us in our mission to partner with people to live healthier lives. This is a day shift, full-time Supervisor position in Radiology at INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of technical procedures, including applying ionizing radiation
  • Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact
  • Coordinates the routing of patient visits to and from the Radiology Department and oversees the scheduling of procedures in areas of responsibility during shift
  • Supervises department staff, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed
  • Ensures the quality of radiographs and that necessary computer functions are performed by the technologist for each examination to assure proper charging of procedures
  • Ensures compliance with appropriate accreditation bodies and applicable guidelines
  • Troubleshoots and resolves errors in Radiology reports as well as patient exam orders, personally correcting those orders when necessary

Requirements

  • 3 years previous experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology or military training in Radiologic Technology from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program
  • ARRT-R (Radiography) OR ARDMS-RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge and technical skills to use a variety of highly specialized radiographic equipment and related procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years mammography experience
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
