Supervisor Radiation Therapy

What We Offer

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is hiring a Supervisor for Radiation Therapy. The position is located in Winston-Salem, NC within the Radiology Administration department. The schedule is Full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm with potential for weekend on-call.

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating, and evaluating the technical and clinical staff.
• Directing radiation therapists and radiation therapy assistants to ensure effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Creating an environment that supports patient and family interactions.
• Focusing on daily operations and assisting the leadership team in meeting departmental objectives.
• Continuously assessing the work environment and processes to identify safety risks.
• Maintaining high visibility, being present and available to support team members.
• Mentoring, teaching, and interacting with team members on both a personal and professional level.

Requirements

• Education: A 4-year / Bachelor's Degree, preferred. A B.S. in a health-related field is required.
• Experience: Five years as a staff Radiation Therapist, required. Three years of supervisory experience, required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program, required. Board certification by ARRT in Radiation Oncology, required.
• Additional Skills: Ability to successfully complete skills validation and competency testing. Computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Intranet/Internet are required.
