About the role
The Quality Engineering Supervisor will lead and manage quality engineers, ensuring policies, procedures, and goals are developed, implemented, and continuously improved. This role also involves monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with export control requirements, and driving quality performance improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quality engineers
- Develop, utilize, and update employee skill matrix
- Maintain department and employee performance
- Ensure adherence to QMS and process/procedure understanding
- Monitor and report on quality KPIs for MCAT process
- Manage Quality Planning/NPI process
- Perform other related duties as requested
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person
- High School Degree or G.E.D.
- Bachelor’s degree in management or engineering preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing
- 5+ years of relevant experience in quality and/or manufacturing engineering
- Prior leadership experience preferred
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of ERP system (Syteline preferred)
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality engineering practices
- Knowledge of manufacturing support processes and systems (inspection, gauging, PPAP, AS9102, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, records & reporting)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and inspection reports
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level
- Ability to travel 5-10%
