About the role

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day quality function and support a culture of quality throughout the organization. In this role, you'll work closely with the Quality Manager while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers to strengthen quality systems, improve manufacturing processes, resolve quality concerns, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop a team of Quality Inspectors and Laboratory Technicians to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and quality management system requirements.
  • Manage daily inspection and laboratory activities to support production schedules while maintaining product quality and timely disposition of materials.
  • Ensure accurate execution of incoming, in-process, final inspection, and laboratory testing activities in accordance with documented procedures and specifications.
  • Review inspection and test data, analyze quality trends, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and process performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance management for quality personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Support the execution and maintenance of quality systems, including ISO9001, AS9100, and Military QPL maintenance programs, such as Mil-PRF-39010, Mil-PRF-27.
  • Coordinate and support containment activities, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation for internal, customer, and supplier quality issues.
  • Monitor and maintain calibration, inspection equipment, and laboratory resources to ensure measurement accuracy and reliability.
  • Track quality metrics and job order status, reporting performance trends and accurate completion times to plant leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quality experience and prior quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading projects, teams, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving, and corrective action skills.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Associate's degree—preferably technical discipline, or relevant years of experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with military specifications would be beneficial.

Pay

Expected base salary range: $80,000–$106,000. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
