About the role
Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring for a Supervisor, Provider Operations - Credentialing. This is a full-time, permanent remote position (40 hours per week) with work hours from 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday. Remote opportunities are available in the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day activities regarding provider data management and credentialing.
- Serve as a subject matter expert supporting quality assurance, internal and external auditing of key processes, system compliance, and acceptance testing.
- Drive process improvements to increase operational effectiveness.
- Document new policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain training materials.
- Assist with onboarding new staff.
- Manage a team of up to 10 to 14 credential specialists I and II.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 3 years of healthcare experience (required).
- Health plan experience (preferred).
Pay
The base pay rate for this full-time position is $69,742.40 to $116,251.20 per year. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
