As part of UCT's Service Division, you will be part of a dynamic organization that delivers critical cleaning and contamination control solutions to the semiconductor industry. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ.

About the role

The Production Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the production operation within their assigned facility, spending 90% of their time on the production floor in a hands-on capacity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel in the delivery of services, including parts cleaning, etching, and other specialized processes.
• Develop and manage work schedules to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer expectations.
• Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including training and quality control documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with engineering, quality, and other teams as needed.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to UCT's safety and quality standards.
• Manage and improve processes to achieve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and operations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in parts cleaning services or a high-tech industry.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience, preferably in a parts cleaning or production setting.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience with quality control and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods.
• Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals and debris.
• May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from equipment.
• Work may require occasional out-of-town travel for training or meetings.
