Supervisor, Production

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Determines quality control standards
• Selects, orders, and purchases materials
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas
• Ensures proper training of all Teammates regarding Safety, Quality, and other company procedures and programs
• Executes SOPs and holds team accountable, including progressive discipline when necessary
• Manages Teammates’ time and attendance and updates hours appropriately
• Identifies talent, including primary and backups for critical roles
• Holds daily management meetings with the team to discuss daily goals, objectives, and company/department updates
• Provides a hands-on approach, including the scheduling of personnel, and oversees of warehouse daily activities including receiving, stocking, inventory control, order filling, and private truck shipments as well as customer pickup orders, workflow, performance and work standards, accuracy, and productivity
• Charts progress and develop enhancements to drive efficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or production required.
• Hands-on supervisory experience a must or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of time & attendance systems (Paycom experience highly preferred).
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data/reporting.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and engage diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Demonstrated initiative and adaptability when faced with new challenges.
