About the role
Join UCT's Service Division and be part of a dynamic organization that delivers critical cleaning and contamination control solutions to the semiconductor industry. As a Production Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ, you will oversee all aspects of the production operation within your facility, spending 90% of your day on the production floor in a hands-on capacity.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production personnel in the delivery of services, including parts cleaning, etching, and other specialized processes.
- Develop and manage work schedules to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer expectations.
- Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including training and quality control documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with engineering, quality, and other teams as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to UCT's safety and quality standards.
- Manage and improve processes to achieve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and operations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in parts cleaning services or high-tech industry.
- 1+ year of supervisory experience, preferably in a parts cleaning or production setting.
Skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with quality control and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

- Work may require occasional out-of-town travel for training and meetings.
