Supervisor, Pharmacy - Retail
Job Summary
The Pharmacy Supervisor provides day-to-day work guidance for a team or work group in a shift and/or in the completion of tactical processes. Has an extensive understanding of process, operational, regulatory and technical requirements of related work areas. The Supervisor's primary role is formal leadership; however, may perform staff pharmacist duties according to the pharmacy's needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Five plus years of experience preferred
- Must have a thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions
- Knowledge of state and local regulations
- Licenses must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position
