About the Role

Gathers and rigorously analyzes data (student achievement, enrollment, financial, etc.) at a district and school level for Career and Technical Education to develop integrated performance reports. Uses data and analysis to positively drive change in systems and processes within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains processes for regularly reporting and monitoring school, district, state, and national data for CTE and magnet programs.
  • Maintains district CTE data records for continual use and review.
  • Works with various district databases to provide regular reports which help to explain performance and guide school and district decision making on program evaluation.
  • Analyzes student achievement data and prepares regular briefs and/or presentations that communicate findings and trends.
  • Collaborates with and leads team members in creating reports and tracking school and student performance based on FLDOE data metrics and district, state, and federal grant requirements.
  • Researches issues, problem-solves, compiles data, and prepares spreadsheets.
  • Attends conferences, workshops, visitations, and meetings to provide information and represent the Director of Career and Technical Education.
  • Provides professional learning opportunities for district and school staff to better understand the data being analyzed and used to drive decision making.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years experience gathering and analyzing data and preparing presentations for a diverse audience.
  • Experience using Genesis (FOCUS), SAP, or SPSS preferred.
  • School-based and district-level experience is a plus.
