Supervisor Patient Accounts

A health system in Westchester County is seeking a Supervisor of Patient Accounts to join its Revenue Cycle team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced patient accounts professional to step into a leadership role overseeing billing and collections while helping drive revenue cycle performance and process improvements. The Supervisor of Patient Accounts will be responsible for:Overseeing daily third-party billing, collections, follow-up, and accounts receivable activitiesSupervising, training, and supporting Patient Accounts staff while monitoring productivity and quality metricsIdentifying billing and reimbursement trends and implementing workflow and process improvementsServing as an escalation point for complex payer, billing, payment, and reimbursement issuesMonitoring payer/vendor performance, regulatory compliance, financial assistance requirements, and departmental reporting Requirements:High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred3+ years of Patient Accounts experience required, preferably within a hospital or healthcare revenue cycle environmentStrong knowledge of hospital billing, third-party payers, insurance reimbursement, collections, and accounts receivablePrior supervisory/leadership experience preferred; Healthcare Business Insights (HBI) certification course required prior to start Compensation: $69,000 to $103,000 annually
