Pay

Pay Rates: 28.77-41.72

Highlights of your role

  • Analyzes patient revenue and monitors efficiency of claims submission to expedite workflow.
  • Maintains skills as Epic Lead for HB claims and works with Altru on upgrades and new processes.
  • Affords updates chargemaster with price increases or new CPT codes.
  • Stays current with insurance processing regulations and instructs billers on all changes.
  • Provides data to CFO for surveys and reports.

What You’ll Get To Do In This Role

  • Reviews Epic WQs to monitor claims for exactness and timely filing.
  • Stays current with insurance processing regulations and provides instructions to billers.
  • Oversees productivity of billing staff and completes annual evaluations.
  • Solves customer complaints while working with Quality Director, Revenue Cycle Manager, or other staff as needed.
  • Revalidates facility NPI #s and assists with credentialing of providers.
  • Trains new staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Previous insurance billing experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of insurance billing practices and medical terminology
  • Supervisory skills
