Supervisor on the Out of Home (OOH) team
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations across assigned clients
Support senior members and managers on department or agency-wide initiatives
Hands-on training with direct reports to ensure a high-quality level of work and motivate the team to meet deadlines
Key Duties/Responsibilities & Desired Knowledge Base
Function independently while maintaining a high quality of work
Oversee and manage team including training direct reports to be self-sufficient
Autonomously manage planning efforts, with support of the team, on strategic direction, RFPs, negotiations, evaluations, and presentations
Develop and present strategically focused OOH plans/recommendations with sound rationale
Expert understanding of media terms, concepts, and strategy (KPI, ROI, CPM, R/F)
Familiarity with OOH industry partners: Geopath & OAAA
In-depth knowledge of OOH formats, vendors and markets (local, regional, national)
Proficient in planning across a variety of OOH verticals: traditional, tra-digital/digital, digital placed based
PREFERRED: experiential, event partnerships/event targeted, traditional embellishments (ex. extensions, props/builds, illumination, etc.)
Qualifications/Skills
Characteristics:
Innate curiosity with a desire to learn and grow as an OOH/Media professional
Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
Self-starter who approaches workload with a positive attitude
Proactive (vs reactive) approach to projects/workload as well as overall management of the business and direct reports
Strong communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)
Acute attention to detail
Highly organized, including time management (of self and team)

Motivate team, primarily direct reports, to do the same

Multitask across numerous projects/accounts

Advocate for OOH (internally, externally)
Proficient in math
Interpret, analyze and synthesize media research

Collaborative team player (can work independently & as part of a matrix structure)
Receptive to feedback and able to apply moving forward
Act as a role model to direct reports and junior staff within the agency
Experience & Education:
Years of professional experience: 5+
Bachelor’s or Associates Degree is highly preferred but not required
Experience buying and planning (not just one), preferably within OOH
Experience training and/or managing multiple direct reports
Fluent in Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
Prior employment at a media agency, preferably within OOH
Pay and Benefits
$85,000 - $90,000 a year
