Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Enforces all standards and procedures for the resort’s Housekeeping services
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness, replenishment, and maintenance of guest rooms, private homes, and public areas
- Maintains the cleanliness of all assigned work areas
- Inspects guest rooms daily, ensuring they are cleaned to the highest level, all maintenance is reported and rectified, and standards are being adhered to
- Inspects all VIP arrival rooms prior to and during their stay, ensuring day and turndown service occurred
- Ensures the resort’s Lost & Found procedures are always adhered to
- Ensures the proper use and care of cleaning agents and equipment
- Ensures supplies and stock levels are maintained in pantries
- Ensures stationery and collateral are in good repair
- Takes ownership in assigned areas of preventative maintenance programs, guaranteeing that work is carried out in an effective and efficient manner
- Reports all defects immediately, following up to ensure the completion of maintenance
- Ensures safe work practices are strived towards
- Supervises subordinates, conducting training on a regular basis, as well as when requested by superiors
- Guarantees that the tasks provided are executed to meet the expectations of O&O standards
- Maintains the attendance of their allocated section of subordinates
- Conducts performance reviews for assigned staff members
Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of housekeeping
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position in a five star or higher category resort
- Effective communication skills with guests, co-workers, and managers
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts

Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling
- Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 50 pounds
- Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
