Supervisor Housekeeping Linen

Specific Job Functions Monitor and ensure the stocking of clean linen in housekeeping locker rooms in accordance with established PAR levels.Supervise Linen Attendants in the safe and efficient operation of motorized carts used to transport full and empty hampers.Record and assist with the weighing and receiving of clean linen hampers delivered by vendors.Inspect linen and terry products for quality, cleanliness, condition, and compliance with established standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the linen dock and housekeeping locker rooms.Supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of Linen Attendants to ensure departmental standards are consistently met.Track, document, and report all linen discards, rejects, and rewash items.Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Housekeeper as needed.Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department. Qualifications 1 to 3 years of progressive housekeeping or laundry operations supervisory experience preferredPrevious experience at a large resort hotel preferred.Previous experience using a weight scale preferred.Professional appearance and demeanor a must.GED or high school diploma preferred.
