About the role
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers involved in ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in a stockroom, warehouse, or yard.
Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate records of inventory adjustments, including cycles, physicals, and catch weight audits.
- Assist with Inventory Control and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain supply areas and computerized inventory records.
- Perform cycle counts, investigate variances, and adjust inventory records as required.
- Review inbound appointment log and open order report daily to plan work activities.
- Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
- Determine staffing needs based on workload and schedule staff accordingly.
- Assign workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
- Review and update operational procedures, ensuring they are communicated and understood.
- Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department.
- Work with Inventory Control to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy.
- Manage department payroll.
- Advise employees on handling items, equipment use, and related procedures.
- Trace item histories to determine discrepancies between inventory and stock control records; recommend remedial actions.
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
- Directly supervise 20+ employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, and address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Schedule
- Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM or Wednesday–Saturday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM.
- Schedule may vary based on business needs; flexibility in availability is required.

Pay
Anticipated starting salary range: $69,000–$75,000 yearly. The final starting salary will be determined based on prevailing market conditions, location, and other factors, in accordance with applicable laws.
