Supervisor of Recording

About the Role

The Supervisor of Recording is a professional role within the Recording Department in the Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s Office. This position supervises individual and unit assignments, delivers training to maintain compliance, mitigates risk, and ensures processes adhere to established standards by actively monitoring workflows and addressing potential issues promptly.

The role is responsible for clearly communicating directives, emphasizing compliance with approved policies and procedures, and contributing to the review and maintenance of these policies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Additionally, this role ensures compliance with confidentiality rules and laws by accurately distinguishing between public and nonpublic records.

The Supervisor of Recording demonstrates a thorough understanding of recording and document processing, fosters accountability, and is committed to continuous improvement. Requirements

Education

• Required: Associate’s degree
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

Relevant Fields: Business, Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, English, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Proven experience serving as a lead on project teams and producing accurate technical writing for inclusion in project documentation, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
