Supervisor of Ramp Services

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and control airport activities for both Ramp Services and Passenger Service functions.
• Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation.
• Ensure compliance with Company rules and regulations, Company standards, and contractual agreements.
• Ensure budgetary controls and manning requirements.
• Monitor the work of assigned employees to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
• Participate in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring, and termination of subordinates.
• Train subordinates.
• Administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, treating all employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties with respect.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training;
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
• Ability to handle stress.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
