Responsibilities

Supports the Maintenance Vendor Operations team in overseeing third-party maintenance providers, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and regulatory obligations. Monitors vendor performance, contributes to KPI development, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Collaborates cross-functionally with Maintenance, Ground Operations, Safety, and Flight Operations to support safe and effective airline operations. Provides reporting, maintains key documentation, and helps ensure adherence to company policies and FAA regulations.

  • Assists and supports the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations and other senior management in projecting a strong commitment to the uncompromising promotion of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Provides oversight of third-party maintenance providers, ensuring contractual obligations are being met and operational performance expectations are being achieved.
  • Assists in the creation of Airworthiness Agreements and Letters of Procedural Authority for the respective maintenance providers.
  • Facilitates the addition of fueling vendors and on-call maintenance providers to the Learning Management System.
  • Assists ground operations and the PSA Safety and Security department as required.
  • Assists Flight Operations leadership where necessary to achieve superior operational performance.
  • Assists the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations in the development and achievement of performance KPIs.
  • Assists with continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  • Ensures compliance with all PSA required policies, practices, procedures, and processes.
  • Compiles and provides various reports and data packages as required or requested.
  • Keeps Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations and Senior Management apprised of all actual or potential negative conditions that may affect aircraft maintenance and ground operations.
  • Submits monthly Maintenance Provider List (MPL) updates to the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations.
  • Assists with maintaining and accomplishing the monthly review of the PSA Airlines Fueling Procedures Manual.
  • Reviews third-party maintenance invoices for accuracy.
  • Monitors and improves outstation vendor safety and reliability performance.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
  • Experience with management and administration of service contracts and agreements.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with Vendor Management and Contracts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and M&E software.
  • Must possess or have ability to possess U.S. passport or equivalent within 90 days.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced technical degree in Engineering, Aviation, Business Administration, or closely related discipline.
  • Experience with program management.

Additional Information

In absence, responsibilities are delegated to the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations. This is not a supervisory position.

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This job operates up to 15% of the time outside in all types of weather. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb up and down stairs; lift weight up to 25 lbs; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

All employees are required to pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) per 49CFR1542.209 as well as a pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badging, Hazmat Shipping Certification, and the ability to become a Hazmat trainer.
