Supervisor of Facilities - Engineering Administration

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Regional Director Facilities, the Supervisor of Facilities will oversee the Facilities team in the day-to-day operations of the Facilities department. Using exceptional organizational skills, proficient in current codes and regulations, keen knowledge of the hospital equipment and systems, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written (email), able to multi-task many high priority tasks simultaneously, and competent to work independently.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/vocational school or equivalent required.
• Experience: 8 years' experience in Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, HVAC and/or Power Plant Operations (OE2), with minimum of two years Supervisory experience and OSHA training. Knowledge of Building Management Systems and Work Order databases. Experience working in hospital. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and other systems. Project Management.
• Licensure, Certification, Registration: P-1, E-1, D-1 or S-1 State of Connecticut license required.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English required.
• Knowledge, Skills And Ability Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
